I made Alister finger paints from a recipe out of The Toddler’s Busy Book. I love this book it has 365 activities and ideas for us moms with tots. It’s basically my kiddo craft bible. Everything in it is simple and it calls for things you would already have laying around the house if you are a crafty mama (such as myself). I deem myself pretty crafty and clever but this book makes it so easy and still gives me tons of ideas for long road trips, holidays, and indoor rainy days. I absolutely love it & highly recommend it. There are recipes for all sorts of fun stuff in the back and recommendations for other neat books including The Preschooler’s Busy Book. (Which I plan on owning very soon.)
Today’s Memorial day backyard pizza picnic with Vida & @arieltron. :) (Taken with instagram)
Major memorial day crafting going on. I am planning on making Alister homemade finger paints. I bought him star jelly window stickers and window markers. We also left Walmart with Fin’s Adventure Time sword since he refused to put it down. It’s pretty sweet.
Last night Kera came over and we killed a bottle of champagne over girl talk. I had to go back to the store & grab some for our mimosa today. Kera hung out till 2 a.m. She brought over tons of hand me downs from Elle and the boys. Alister has worn those rain boots and has been playing that v-tech gameboy thingy right after they were pulled out of her bag. Haha. He loves all his new stuff! Today has been really laid back. We are currently full of Town & Country and getting ready for a nap!
Love me some Sundays!
We just bought this silvered hanging plant that feels like velvet and is technically a weed. It’s called dichondra sliver falls but I call it mermaid hair. The guy at Gill’s said that he has grown them to the ground before. I love it and I’m completely aware of my plant addiction.
I love my bike trailer. Alister is getting heavier& heavier to pull but it means I’m getting stronger!!! Best gifts ever.
Thanks for the tip. My son gets plenty, no worries.
